Rubber lagging manufactured using an abrasion resistant top rubber layer and an uncured bonding layer to provide high levels of adhesion after autoclave curing.

Adhesion to Steel @ +50 C >10 N/mm & 100% Rubber Tear ASTM D429 Method B
Thickness Available 10 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm
Nominal Thickness +/-1.0 mm
Thickness Variation (all strips/pulley) +/-0.5 mm

Thickness variation is measured on both sides of each lagging strip at each end and in the centre i.e. 6 points on each strip.

Hot Vulcanised Rubber Lagging – FRAS

Rubber lagging manufactured using an abrasion resistant FRAS rubber and an uncured bonding layer to provide high levels of adhesion. This rubber lagging is for use in applications where there is a risk of fire and/or explosion such as underground coal mines, and grain and sugar handling facilities and is a safety critical item.
