Elastotec has pioneered the development of Hot Vulcanised Ceramic Lagging (HVCL) and the method for applying this to the pulley.

This process has been patented and a network of “Approved Applicators” has been established to provide end users with the best Ceramic Lagging that has been applied to Elastotec OEM specifications.

The HVCL has no joins and as a result does not suffer from pulley shell corrosion that leads to lagging failure.

Additionally the HVCL bonding process provides consistent 100% rubber tear bonds ensuring the longest possible service life for the pulley.

HVCL represents a significant advancement in technology and should be considered by all bulk materials handling sites that are looking for increased reliability and reduced down time.
