Elastotec Extreme 42% Ceramic Lagging has an 42% ceramic coverage combined with a thick 8mm body ceramic tile with 1.5mm tapered dimples. It performs reliably in the following conditions:

  • Extremes of temperature from -40°C to +70°C.
  • Transfer of high-power loads required for gearless drive conveyors up to 8MW, 3.000kN belt tensions and shear cyclic loads up to 80Kg/tile.
  • Presence of carry back that can damage ceramic tiles on standard lagging.
  • Operation in very wet conditions.
  • Extended outdoor operational service of more than 5 years.

This new lagging from Elastotec utilises technology that has been developed over the past 10 years and provides a level of operational performance far in excess of any other ceramic lagging that is currently available.

8 mm thick ceramic tile + 1.5 mm dimples resist cracking and damage even under severe carry-back.

Wide Operational Range

Works reliably from −40 °C to +70 °C and under high belt tensions (up to ~3,000 kN) and shear loads.

Strong Bonding System

Hot vulcanised (or cold bonded) to deliver 100% rubber tear adhesion, eliminating debonding and edge lifting.

Tile Pull-out & Crack Resistance

The design increases bonded surface area to double the pull-out force compared to standard tiles, offering superior flex crack resistance.

Enhanced Grip & Belt Friendly

Tapered and enlarged dimples plus rounded corners protect the belt bottom cover while maintaining traction.
